CHEROKEE HOME'S STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose for the Cherokee Home for Children is to provide care for dependent and neglected children ages two and older, regardless of race and/or religious affiliation. To provide religious training and rehabilitation for normal growth and development. The physical care provided enables the children to attend the public school system. Dependent and needy children shall be interpreted as those dependent on the public for the basic needs of life and whose health and welfare are in danger.
